Your Performance Summary
Workstation shows you a rolling 60-day view of how your shifts are going — punctuality, schedule adherence, task tracking. It's for you, not a report card.
Why it matters
You worked. You clocked in, did the job, clocked out. The Performance section in Workstation summarizes how those shifts looked, so you can spot trends in your own work without waiting for a one-on-one.
The numbers are for your own awareness. They're also the same numbers your manager sees about you — this isn't a private channel where they're evaluating you behind your back; it's the same data, shown to you so you have it too.
Where to find it
Open Workstation → tap Performance in the navigation.
If your shop hasn't turned this on, the section won't appear — ask your supervisor.
What the three cards mean
Each card covers your last 60 days, with a 12-month trend line. Nothing here is a score, a weighted average, or a ranking — each card stands on its own. Each percentage appears once at least 10 qualifying shifts are recorded — until then the card shows progress toward it instead of a number.
Punctuality
On-time clock-ins and clock-outs. On time means your recorded time rounds to your scheduled time — within half your account's rounding interval, either direction. If your shop rounds to the nearest 15 minutes, that's within about 7 and a half minutes of your scheduled start or end.
Schedule adherence
Shifts you actually worked, out of the shifts you were expected to work. A shift your employer cancelled doesn't count against you — it's simply not counted at all. A missed shift marked "excused" doesn't count against you either — it's neutral, the same as a cancelled shift. Only missed shifts marked unexcused, no-call-no-show, or not yet classified count against your adherence.
Task coverage
How much of your clocked time is covered by a task record. If your shop uses job costing, this reflects how much of your time on the clock is attributed to actual work. If your shop doesn't track tasks closely, this number may not mean much for your role — ask your supervisor.
Total clocked hours for the period still appear in the page header — that's raw clock time, not a legal pay calculation. Your payroll provider handles hours worked, overtime, and pay classification.
What you'll see on each card
- The current value for the last 60 days
- The change versus the prior period
- If your shop has team comparisons turned on and enough team members are active, each card also shows the shop average
- A 12-month trend line
Shop performance
If your shop has turned on team comparisons, a Shop performance section appears below your own three cards — the same three metrics, aggregated across the whole team instead of just you. It only appears once at least 4 team members have completed a shift in the last 60 days; below that, the section shows "Available once enough of the team is active" instead of numbers, so no small team's aggregate can single anyone out.
What to do
If you want to keep your numbers up:
- Tap Start Shift and End Shift close to your scheduled time. Rounding does the rest.
- Track tasks throughout your shift if your shop uses them, so your clocked time is covered by a task record.
- Let your supervisor know before a shift you can't make, so a miss gets marked excused instead of unexcused.
If a number looks off, the underlying shift data drives it — if you think a shift recorded the wrong times or a task landed on the wrong job, talk to your supervisor about correcting it. The numbers recalculate automatically once the underlying data changes.
Common questions
Q: Why does my card say "Available once enough data is collected" instead of a number?
A: That card hasn't reached 10 qualifying shifts in the last 60 days yet — the progress line under it shows how close you are. One shift reading "100%" would be a claim the data can't back up, so the card waits for enough of a sample before showing a rate.
Q: My Punctuality dropped after one really late day.
A: It's a rolling 60-day average, so one bad shift moves it. It recovers as that shift ages out of the window.
Q: Can I dispute a number?
A: The numbers are just math on your shift data. If you think the underlying data is wrong — a shift recorded the wrong times, a task was attributed to the wrong job — open the shift and talk to your supervisor about correcting it. The numbers recalculate when the underlying data changes.
Q: Why don't I see Performance in my Workstation app?
A: Either your shop hasn't turned the section on, or you have no completed shifts yet in the window.
Q: Does my supervisor get notified when one of my numbers changes?
A: No automatic alerts. The data is there for them to see if they look, but FabWise doesn't ping anyone when a number moves.
Q: A missed shift I couldn't avoid is hurting my Schedule adherence — is that fair?
A: If your supervisor marks that missed shift "excused," it becomes neutral — same as a shift your employer cancelled — and stops counting against your adherence. Talk to your supervisor about the classification if you think it should change.
